Death dreams can offer deep wisdom for living. What does it mean when death comes in our nightly dreams.

A sense of discovery can bring great joy, even in hard times. It requires curiosity, perhaps breaking out of our routines…not-doing, trying new things…feeling our longing for those places of wildness that leap like a flame in our hearts. We have to first imagine it, breathing gently onto this flame. What would it be like to reclaim that lost 60% of our connection to nature?

To merge with and co-create ceremony with a deity is a daunting task requiring the ability to deeply commune with the magical realms in a safe way, with humility, curiosity and reverence.

In Druidry, the hunter ally is first invited in during the Ovate grade - a time of deep reflection in which the student begins to see and acknowledge those parts which are out of balance, bloated or diminished. We hunt for the energies which feed off our fears and siphon our magic, our possibility, our power - all that impedes us on our journey.

A poem for the spiritual traveler...

The lesson of Stone on this day is to slow down to Stone time, lay down the burden and perhaps allow the energy of coyote into my life. Be a little more playful, embrace the unexpected and know that the old structures no longer support my path. Perhaps Coyote is saying it's time for this old dog to learn a few new tricks.
